Hardware
We sell the board, flashed and tested, and we publish the guide that turns it into a working camera. The pilot boards are on the bench and validating now (build log); the board we sell is the v1.1 production revision, with the infrared illuminator drive on the board. The production batch is built to order, so preorders are what size it. No cell plan, no subscription required: photos ride your own radio mesh.
Camera board
- Assembled board, hardware v1.1: ESP32-S3 with camera connector, 915 MHz LoRa module on board
- Whip antenna and u.FL-to-RP-SMA pigtail in the box
- Solar charge input and on-board LiFePO4 26650 battery bay
- Infrared illuminator drive on the board: a 2-pin socket powers and switches an 850 nm IR array, nothing external to wire
- Sockets for PIR motion sensor and BME280 environment sensor; microSD slot
- Pre-flashed with the open-source firmware, tested, serialized
You supply the camera module, sensors, solar panel, cell, and microSD card — the small parts are stocked below, and the build guide names a vendor for each of the rest. Support is the community kind: the docs and the public repos.

Gateway board
- Comes back as a flashed bare board, the same way the camera board sells: no enclosure, no bundle
- Antenna and pigtail will be in the box
- Price is set when the v0.4 board is validated and its parts cost is known
- Until then: run the open-source gateway on any computer with an SX1262 module

Parts we stock
The small pieces that are annoying to source or need testing before you trust them. There's no cart for them yet: write hello@getmeshcam.com any time before your board ships and we put them in the same box, on the same invoice. Everything else in the build — the solar panel, the LiFePO4 cell, the microSD card, the enclosure — the build guide names a vendor for and you buy direct, at their price, not ours.

We do not sell lithium cells. A loose cell in a box is prohibited on aircraft, and the build guide names vendors who ship them properly.
Boards ship in the US for now. Every board comes with its antenna and pigtail; no cell, no enclosure, and no camera module in the box unless you add one above. Canada: we are not taking Canadian orders until the hardware is certified in Canada, so use the notify box on the board above and we will email you when it opens. FCC equipment authorization is in progress; see the notice above. The build guide is free and public, and we publish it before boards ship. Firmware, device API, and the web app are open source: self-hosting is free forever and nothing you buy depends on us staying in business. Questions: the FAQ or hello@getmeshcam.com.
