The one piece that connects your camera mesh to the internet. One per property, any number of cameras.
Leave your email and we'll tell you the moment it's available.
The gateway is the edge of the mesh. Cameras hand it their photos over 915 MHz radio; it hands them to your network. It plugs in indoors near a window, joins your WiFi, and needs nothing else — no wiring out to the cameras, no cell plan, no antenna mast required.
We configure it for your internet before it ships, so it comes up on its own the first time you power it.
Every property needs exactly one gateway, however many cameras are on it. Adding cameras later means adding cameras: they join the mesh that's already there.
When a camera is too far out or the terrain is wrong, the fix is a relay carrying the hop, not a second gateway. Relays come in the pro bundle.
The first year of hosted cloud comes with the gateway. After that it stays optional: the server is open source and free to self-host forever. Run it on a Raspberry Pi at the cabin and the whole system works with no internet connection at all — camera to mesh to gateway to your own machine, browsable from anything on that network.
You can also skip this product entirely. The open-source gateway runs on any computer with an SX1262 module, and that guide comes with the camera kit.
